Plamen Avramov

Description

Plamen Avramov graduated from National Art Academy, Sofia (1984). Works in various materials - metal, stone, ceramics, wood. His works are a rare example of updating classical principles. His sculptures have the attractiveness of the real and the mystery of the imaginary and are resolved with the sense and communicativeness of the plot. The color she uses creates associations with ancient figurative ceramics. His individual exhibitions are in Varna, where he lives and works - "Gallery 8" (1997-2005) and HG Silistra (1997). Participated in symposiums in the country and collective exhibitions abroad - Symposium on Metal, Madan (1987), Symposium on Marble, Burgas (1988), Symposium on Metal, Silistra (1989), Symposium on Metal and Stone, (2002), St. Gallen Gallery, Switzerland (2003, 2005), group exhibition of artists from Varna, Lyon (2002) 2004, Symposium on wood, Pavlikeni (2004), Symposium on wood, Gabrovo (2005), Vidima Ideal Tree Symposium, Sevlievo (2007), Contempo, Varna (2016)
