He worked in the field of scenography, mural painting and applied graphics. For more than 35 years, his rich fantasy has been expressed through the means of painting, creating an imaginary reality with surreal elements. He has held more than fifty solo exhibitions in the country and abroad. Works by Hristo Yotov - Yoto are in the collections of NHG, SHG, the municipal galleries of Plovdiv, Shumen, Dobrich, Ruse, Pazardzhik, city galleries in the country and in private collections in Canada, USA, Europe, South America.
Winner of the "Golden Feather" award for contribution to Bulgarian culture and art. Winner of an award from the national competition of "Allianz Bulgaria" for painting.
