Mihail Lalov

Mihail Lalov was born in 1952 in Sofia. From 1968 to 1972 he studied at the National Art School, and from 1974 to 1979 he studied at the National Academy of Arts. In 1991, he was accepted as a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists.

BIOGRAPHIC REFERENCE

MICHAIL LALOV was born on July 14, 1952 in Sofia. From 1968 to 1972 he studied at the National School of Art, and from 1974 to 1979 he studied at the National Academy of Arts. In 1991 he was accepted as a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists.

In 1979 he was an artist at the Boyana Cinema Center, and then - until 1983 he was an artist-designer (set designer) at the Drama Theater in Montana. In 1984-1987 he was an artist-decorator of theaters in Pleven, Dobrich, Razgrad, Lovech and Gabrovo.

He has realized dozens of solo exhibitions in Bulgaria, France, Germany, Cyprus. His paintings are in the possession of the National Art Gallery, the Sofia City Art Gallery, private collections in the country and abroad.
