Zhivko Mutafchiev

Zhivko Mutafchiev was born in 1967 in Aytos. In 1986, graduated from the Art High School in Kazanlak and then the Art Academy in Sofia in the class of Professor Stoyan Stoyanov majoring in graphics. The artist works in the field of painting and graphics, participating in numerous exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad. He works with galleries in Germany, France, the Netherlands, USA, China, where he presents solo exhibitions and participates in general expositions.

Zhivko Mutafchiev was born in 1967 in Aytos. In 1986, graduated from the Art High School in Kazanlak and then the Art Academy in Sofia in the class of Professor Stoyan Stoyanov majoring in graphics.
The artist works in the field of painting and graphics, participating in numerous exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad. He works with galleries in Germany, France, the Netherlands, USA, China, where he presents solo exhibitions and participates in general expositions.
Since 1993 is a member of the "Taylor” Foundation, Paris.
His works are owned by the National Gallery of Art - Sofia, Museum of Modern Art in Fontainebleau - France and private collections in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Greece, Holland, Belgium, USA, UK, Russia, Spain.
In 2006, won first prize in a competition on the theme communication announced by Telecom "HTP" and "Sparkasse Hannover" and "Kreissparkasse Peine" - Germany.
He lives and works in Sofia.
