"I am happy that I do not lose interest in the world, in people, and in nature. I'm not afraid (anymore) to say the word 'beauty'. It exists, in my opinion, both in life and in art. The paintings I create express my desire for it, let everyone understand it as they want. I think that it is precisely the displaced layers in our lives, the broken harmony and the loss of ideals that make me feel even more the necessity to create my perfect world." Desislava Mincheva
Description
The exposition that the author prepared for the hall of the Art Gallery Le Papillon is a selection of works created in the recent months, united by the theme of beauty and women, as her emanation. The subject of the human figure, specifically the female figure, as well as the portrait in particular, has been repeatedly explored by the artist. Dessislava Mincheva approaches the selection of her plots with a fine sense of beauty in natural movement and presence. The inspiring for her ballet dance and its main performers fills both her small and large canvases with her immense admiration. Her magnificent portraits and graceful figures of ballerinas prove her confidence that ballet reveals to us something extremely beautiful, filled with tenderness and strength at the same time. And so is the personality of Dessislava Mincheva herself - demanding of herself, strong and with a religious attitude towards beauty in everything. Her drawing is not an idealized beauty behind realism, but a real strong emotion, because art gives more than life. Her works provoke the creative forces of human nature to reflect, to creativity and inspire life. Standing in front of her canvases, a person imperceptibly finds himself in philosophical, aesthetic and moral dimensions, where he could look for answers about the transitory and the impermanent, about the perishable and the eternal, about reality and ideals.
